How we make money

We may receive compensation when you visit an operator, or open an account with one, through a link on this site. This is the site's only planned source of income. There is no charge to you, and the amount an operator pays does not change based on how you are treated once you are on their site.

What this does not affect

The scores. Category scores are set against a fixed rubric before any commercial conversation, and are not revised because one happens.
Whether an operator is listed. We list and review operators with a verified licence for the market they are listed in, whether or not there is a commercial arrangement with them.
Ranking position. The comparison order comes from the ratings and the filters you choose, not from commission.
The "Recommended" mark. It is an editorial decision that an operator cannot pay for.

What it does affect

It pays for the time spent checking licences, reading terms, testing withdrawals and keeping the pages up to date. If an operator we rate well has no commercial arrangement with us, we still recommend it and still link to it; we just may not earn anything from that link.

Why we still call the site editorially independent

"Independent" here means the editorial judgements, the scores, the rankings and the "Recommended" mark are not for sale. It does not mean there is no commercial relationship at all; the links are how the site is funded. We think the honest description is that the analysis is independent and the funding is disclosed, which is what this page is for. The full scoring method is on how we review.

No commercial agreements are currently in place, so outbound links are not yet enabled.
